As a global organization, Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd believes we have a responsibility to proactively engage with the communities, in which we live and work.
We strive to be a responsible corporate citizen in the geographies in which we operate, recognizing our responsibility to work in partnership with their communities.
It is our aim to:
- Take our broader responsibilities very seriously, both through charitable donations and through creative and innovative local engagement
- Support our community involvement by supporting education, health and safety particularly associated with children.
- To behave as a responsible and considerate neighbor wherever we operate a business
- To recruit our workforce locally from the communities that we serve and aspire to be an employer of choice
- To allow our Associates to choose which charities or causes to support, allowing them to make a difference through fundraising or practical support.
Hinduja Global is committed to ambitious programs that serve the mutual interests of the broader community and our own organization. The intent of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program will be towards building long-term values, fostering engaged leaders, encouraging enthusiasm & pride among our Associates, and enhancing our reputation in the market place. Our commitment towards Corporate Citizenship is to provide a structured way of giving company time and skills to Non-Profit Organizations.
Our Corporate Citizenship activities provide support to disadvantaged children in our local communities in the areas of Education, Health & Safety. Most importantly, the involvement of Hinduja Global's Associates is central to improving communities and changing lives. With the help of our highly skilled Associate base, we intend to educate slum children on communication skills, technology and prepare them to join the workforce. We also use our skills to work in various community activities, including health education and AIDS-awareness campaigns.
Hinduja Global in our Community
In India, Hinduja Global has started working with the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. Samarthanam provides educational assistance to visually impaired and physically challenged children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We have partnered with Samarthanam on various fronts, which include employee funded sponsorship, sharing of learning materials, educational tuition and guidance, mentoring and counseling. Hinduja Global's long term vision and desire is to provide children of Samarthanam with a future which will lead to employment within Hinduja Global.
In Manila, Hinduja Global employees, embarked on a donation drive for the elderly - mainly abandoned and neglected parents and grandparents. Our Associates in Manila also regularly participate in Children's Hour where Hinduja Global employees share part of their earnings to Children's Hour which addresses the multi-faceted problems of Filipino children, primarily in the area of education.
In the United States we work with local hospitals, charitable institutions and NGOs either financially or through the physical efforts of our dedicated Affina employees. We are regular contributors to the Peoria Children's Hospital and our El Paso team through their Charitable Contributions Committee has raised funds for the Special Olympics which provide opportunities for differently-able people to participate in sporting events.
